USDA STRATUS (Strategic Technical Resources and Tools for Unified Support) is the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s enterprise-wide contract vehicle designed to provide cloud integration and support services across the Department. STRATUS enables USDA agencies and staff offices to acquire Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and related cloud professional services in a streamlined, standardized, and secure manner. The vehicle supports cloud migration, engineering, governance, optimization, cybersecurity, and managed services, helping USDA modernize legacy systems, improve scalability and performance, and align with Federal Cloud Smart strategy and USDA OCIO guidance. By leveraging STRATUS, USDA components can accelerate digital transformation initiatives while ensuring compliance with federal security, data protection, and enterprise architecture requirements.
